October Tarot Study: Crystal Tarot

I can’t even begin to explain what a whirlwind September was for me. But I’m excited to be in a new month and have more time to dedicate to my Tarot practice.

The Tarot Study I’m participating in was created by Kim of Abundant Life Tarot.

Kim has one of the best Tarot groups online!

This month the study is focused on using a Pip deck.

Decks I’m Using

Others participating in the Abundant Life Tarot group are using The Antique Anatomy Tarot, or other decks of their choosing.

I don’t have this deck and am so proud that I didn’t go out and buy it, even though I’ve had my eye on it for a while.

I looked through my collection and reached for the Crystal Tarot. I purchased it not realizing it was a pip deck, because I loved the art.

The Akamara Tarot arrived to me recently, and I was so tempted to use that deck, but decided to stick with the Crystal Tarot since we will also be exploring color and this deck is full of color.

I feel my deck collection is complete and love that I can work with the decks that I already have. Since I’m starting a day late, on the 2nd. I will be working with two cards.

I also chose the Liquid Crystal Oracle to pair with the Crystal Tarot.

Daily Card Exploration – October 1, 2021

Today I decided to pull an oracle card for the theme for this month and an additional Tarot card to see the conversation that unfolds.

Theme: Chrysoprase ~ Fearless Movement

This crystal resonates with the Heart and Solar Plexus Chakras which are two centers I am focusing on more, especially since stepping into my business full time. The theme for this year of my life was also tied to following my heart.

Chrysoprase helps to release fear and fosters love and trust! This is such a beautiful energy to guide me during the month of October. There are some intuitive nudges that I have been receiving that I will be exploring!

Another beautiful thing is that Chrysoprase helps to connect with Divine Love, which I like to call Spiritual Love. This crystal resonates with me on such a deep level. In order to move fearlessly I have to be connected and aligned within my heart.

The marriage of my inner will and heart leads to aligned action. I love that the connection this crystal has with the earth also helps to feel grounded and connected, but in such a loving way. Being one who finds peace and solace in nature, I resonate with this aspect of Chrysoprase too!

Six of Swords – This card for me is always about a shift in mindset. Finding balance by understanding the past and using that knowledge to elevate and expand. When I look at this particular card I can see a crown in the middle of the Swords, it’s almost like it’s being guarded. To follow my heart, being mindful of my thoughts and the thing that I consume will be important.

Another thing that sticks out is that the past and future is guarded. The way these swords are positioned, the mind or crown is centered in the present. I can make aligned choices when I do so from the present moment. That is where all the power is. Reflecting on the past or to the future, takes away the potency that I have in the now.
