Dealing with Life’s Lemons

When life gives you lemons, pray they aren’t rotten.  If they are handle with care.

The Spiritual Love Healer

Let’s face it, this is life and things are not perfect. The lemons of life can make lemonade (or lemon water if you prefer) or can be so rotten that you can’t do anything with them, but handle them in kind.

Lately, I’ve had a mixture of lemons. Life’s lemons usually refer to bad experiences, but I think lemons are only bad if they are rotten. I love lemons! They are tasty when added to the right dish or drink. I prefer lemon water or tea with lemon.

Again, life is not perfect, including relationships. Especially when it comes to people and relationships, because we can not control them. There are times when challenges arise. These times will help define and shape your relationship or reveal the truth of the people around you.

Either way, something will definitely be learned from the situation. For several months I have been busy with the hurdles thrown in my way. I think for the most part I have managed quite well, but damn if it hasn’t been hard.

A newborn, “family” drama, trying to catch up in school, and preparing to return to work. Then also trying to maintain my blog and get my coaching and healing business off the ground.

However, in the face of it all, I see where I’ve grown. I learned a lot about myself, and about relationships, and am growing more each day.

There have been days when I have wanted to throw in the towel, soak it in gasoline and set it ablaze, but my dreams are worth fighting for.

I also realized it is okay to want to quit, to be angry, and hurt. We will have feelings about everything (sometimes I’d love an off switch). Feelings are real and valid, but you can’t stay in them.

We have to process things and move forward.

In the face of adversity, I can’t focus on the problem or my feelings about the problem. I get through it by focusing on the outcome that I desire, and enjoying all the good moments of my life.

The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter as each day goes by. So when things go bad, you don’t hang your head in despair.

Pick it up, smile like a Cheshire cat, bring out your best, and keep going! If you need support in moving forward in your life, I’d love to help you. I have lots of knowledge and experience from life, as well as my training as an energy coach and healer. You can join my free community or explore other ways that I can support you.
